The residence of Princess Chumbhot of Nagara Svarga, one of Thailand's leading art collectors, this is a complex consisting of five traditional Thai house that overlook a beautifully landscaped garden. Each house has a large collection of Asian art and antiques. One building contains an extensive exhibit of seashells, mineral crystals, and painted pottery from Ban Chiang. The main attraction of Suan Pakkad Palace is the 300-year-old lacqure pavillion, which is decorated with medieval gold leaf murals.
