Bangkok, Thailands capitol city is estimated to have a population of ten million if you go by the Tourism Authority of Thailands count, or 11 million if you look at the Wiki Travel count. I have lived in Thailand, specifically Bangkok for the best part of 20 years. Why? I don’t really know, but it beats the heck out of Canada or Europe. However they are not good to foreigners in the land of smiles. One has to get a visa every year, yes every year, a work permit to go with it and there is no guarantee, that, even after such a long time you are going to get either. brand new holiday 5 bedroom teak wood home in Bangkok Taling Chan district. Suit family with children and animals as the place is safe and has a terrace under the elevated on stilts house. Goes cheap, even short let - as I can't go on holidays to Bangkok as often as I use to go. At the moment stays there my daughter with her children, but she can move to my sister in law house just the next door. On American thanksgiving I went to a great party. I was going to call it a dinner party, but as I got there at about 1:30 in the afternoon and the joint was already - if not jumping - at least buzzing, I guess the term garden party would be more accurate..
