Situated at Bang Na-Trat's 14 km point, the Thana City Golf & Country Club features fast greens and an enormous variety of fairways.  Designed by Greg Norman in 1993, the course features all of the requisites that you would normally associate with a seaside course -- a lot of sand, coarse grasses, reeds, natural streams and lakes.  Playability is excellent for the course incorporates strategically placed sand traps, which require some very accurate shooting if one is to avoid them.  However, don't let the fact that it is a par-72 fool you: the course is definitely very long and tough in places--none more so than on holes 4 and 5 which are both played to Island greens.
